Jean-Claude is a certified translator with over 30 of experience with companies and businesses in the field of written communication. He has contributed to economics publications and business magazines and has been awarded the Prix Jérôme-Forget for business journalism. He has completed numerous writing projects for large companies, particularly retail sector companies, such as Steinberg, and insurance companies. A large portion of his career was devoted to being Costco Wholesale Canada’s translation manager. His responsibilities included translating and editing the French-language edition of Costco’s flagship magazine as well as numerous marketing and advertising materials. At Costco, he also maintained a relationship with Quebec's language board, the Office de la langue française. He is well acquainted with language standards required for packaging and labelling on products, especially those intended for the Quebec market.
